Why This Program Exists

The people who built the nuclear weapons program

From the 1940s onward, tens of thousands of Americans worked at Department of Energy sites and uranium facilities across New Mexico and Nevada, often without knowing what they were being exposed to. EEOICPA exists to cover the illnesses that followed. Getting those workers and their survivors to treatment is the work we do.

Which program covers you

DOL

Department of Labor

Federal employees and contractors with an accepted injury claim. Present your Medical Benefits Identification Card when booking and travel is billed to the program.

OWCP

Office of Workers' Compensation Programs

Approved transport to treatment, therapy and independent medical examinations under an open OWCP claim.

EEOICPA

Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation

Part B covers radiation-linked cancers, chronic beryllium disease and silicosis. Part E covers illness from toxic exposure at DOE facilities. Both include survivors.

We confirm coverage

We check your program and claim number, then confirm the ride in writing.

STEP 03

Door-to-door pickup

Your driver arrives early, assists you into the vehicle and tracks the route.

STEP 04

We file the paperwork

Trip documentation goes to your case manager. Nothing is billed to you.
